What’s On Event Calendar

We are really pleased to have 11 year old T’Mya returning to Warren Park to entertain us all with her brilliant operatic voice.

We are pleased to confirm that singer Chris Dale will be back with us on Thursday, performing live from 13:30.

Following our link up with Ursuline Catholic Primary School, we will be joined by a group of children who are looking forward to spending time with Residents.

Following the Christmas break this will be a new group of children for Residents to meet.

We have our first visit to Warren Park for singer Pat Maitland who will be performing in the conservatory from 13:30.

The Plaza cinema has a showing of By The Light by the Silvery Moon from 13:30 on Thursday.

Following our link up with Ursuline Catholic Primary School, we will be joined by a small group of children who are looking forward to spending time with Residents.

This week the children will be joining in a cookery session.

We are pleased to have our cookery session back into the social activities calendar. This week we will start with scones and at the end of the session, all taking part can vote on what we would like to have a go at making in next Fridays session.

As the session coincides with the primary visit, we are proposing that the children can join in.

Come and join us for one of our popular quiz afternoons from 13:30 in the conservatory.

Caroline will be offering a gentle exercise class for Residents from 13:30 in the conservatory.

Father Martin, the parish priest from St Josephs & St Helens, will be joining us to offer our first mass of the new year from 14:00 in the conservatory.

Feel free to join us for the mass and spend some time following chatting with Father Martin and other Residents. The mass is open to all denominations or anybody seeking spiritual enlightenment.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Tonight we will have a special Scottish themed menu in celebration of the famous Scottish poet and lyricist, Robert Burns.

During our Scottish themed day we will have a quiz, serving whisky and shortbread refreshments.

We are pleased to have our cookery session back into the social activities calendar. This week we will be cooing something agreed at the end of last Fridays session and then at the end of this session, all taking part can vote on what we would like to have a go at making in next Friday’s session.

As the session coincides with the primary visit, we are proposing that the children can join in.

Caroline will be offering Resident One to One sessions during the afternoon. This can be anything from hand massages, playing bridge to having a general chat or providing Residents with assistance to organise or sort out items.

We are pleased to welcome Mark Cousins to Warren Park. Mark will be performing from 13:30.

Caroline will be offering a gentle exercise and memory session from 13:30 in the conservatory.

Our next Residents, Family & friends of Warren Park meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday 31st January, from 13:30 in the conservatory.
